This photo is made of a girl named Sarah, she is only 6 years old. She went to bed late the evening before the shoot, therefore she was very tired. As a result of this, I was able to find a piece of rest in her gentle, ocean blue eyes. I am always waiting for this piece of calmness, especially with a younger age group since it is not always an easy thing to accomplish. Her unique ginger curls also give a very subtle contrast to the background which makes them stand out.

This photo is made of a girl named Felicia, Felicia is 12 years old. I make portraits with a feeling of stillness, I try to capture a certain peace and emotion in my models, and I am always looking for a specific glance. I work with very soft lighting, which gives the photo a painterly effect.
